I contacted the Help Desk at 11:45 pm the last day of early registration and now I must pay a late fee? Can I get a refund since I did so before early registration ended at midnight?
FeaturedYou are correct in that early registration for events available via the online registration system ends at midnight on the published date. We strongly reccomend Sorors not wait to register as they run the risk of registering late or being unable to register if we are unable to resolve their issue in advance of the deadline. In other words, we typically cover the Help Desk during the published hours but Sorors can register on the online conference registration system 24 hours a day while registration for a particular event is open. They may also submit a Help Desk ticket 24 hours a day if they are having trouble accessing that system. Sorors who have trouble accessing the conference registration system and contact us for assistance outside of Help Desk Hours or at the last minute run the risk of paying late fees or being unable to register because our Help Desk volunteers cannot be expected to cover and respond to tickets 24 hours a day, nor do they. We make our best effort to respond to tickets the same day or as soon as possible after they are submitted. However, if your ticket requires escalation to the Regional Director or the International Technology Committee, it could take several days to resolve. So submitting your ticket as soon as you encounter a problem accessing the system helps to give us the time needed to resolve your issue before the late fee applies or registration closes.
